Description
Hegena is one of the central characters in the Hege Story and one of the people closest to Hege.
Kind, intelligent, confident, and not always easy to read, she has a life and ambitions of her own beyond her romantic relationship with Hendrix.
Much to the dismay of Hege, who has a longtime crush on her.
Hegena is Helena’s only child and she lost her father at a young age.
Growing up with her mother as the central figure in her life has profoundly influenced the relationship between mother and daughter — they have a very close, although sometimes complicated bond.
Hegena finds herself drawn into the friendships, conflicts, and unexpected situations that surround Hege, while navigating her own emotions and relationships along the way.
Trivia
Level 0 Chapter 5 reveals that Hegena cleans up the beach on Mondays, takes care of elderly people on Wednesdays, plants trees on Thursdays, and helps train seeing eye dogs on the weekends.
Her values are very much those of her late father, who used to say “the measure of a person lies in how they treat others, not in what they have.”
She adds: “any man can buy my heart but… I want someone to know my heart. I want someone like my dad”
